Tonights matches

I genuinely had fun tonight. I helped it along by having a massage and a nice lunch on the sunny patio of Nob Hill spa.  I wore my kilt as a fun casual relaxing wear.  Something Gerry Sharon's friend from Scotland rubbed off on me.

I also learned that my ultimate match play cardio level is 189 bpm.  My usual bike routine only brings me to 170.  Now that I have this nice Suunto heart rate monitor, I can train and know whether I'm helping my squash.

In terms of my play tonight, I am very happy that I had many calm moments.  I'm also pleased that I crouched and moved well.  I made errors (again it's when I had all the time to hit it) and I had winners against me too.  There were many shots I hit short that I could have hit better lengths.  But all in all, I liked my performance.  I didn't give in and I didn't give up!
