Footwork

The one lesson I learned from fencing is good footwork leads to good blade work. In squash it translates to good shot making and racquet techniques.  So I will keep in mind the following footwork techniques.

HALF SKIP
Always from bended knees to a half skip to break the inertia. (take the racquet back while half skip)

MULTIPLE SKIPS
2 to 3 long skips and a lunge can cover nearly the entire diagonal of the court.

CROSS OVER SKIP
for a quicker step, cross one foot over the other after the half skip.

SKIP CROSS
half skip, cross over, step, lunge
