Playing 4.5's

I played Richard Heal today for fun. We traded games. Richard's game is counterattacks. His pace is slow, but fairly deep. He watches well and reads his opponents movements. The shots I won were good widths and getting on the ball early with a bit of pace. Generally the short game wasn't as effective. If I play more aggressively, I would take him. In general, his shots are not that deadly and I usually have a lot of time to get to his balls and doing something with the return.

But then again maybe being aggressive would work on anyone, not just a 4.5 player.
