A good lesson

Niki showed me what a cocked wrist looks like for my forehand drive.  I don't know why I didn't heed all the instructions I've heard over the years about this, but it took watching myself and instructional DVD's to know I have been doing it wrong.  That probably opened up my mind to accepting what Niki and others have said.  So, I put it into practice last night in my lesson.

Lesson, cock my wrist and only rotate the forearm.  I may straighten my arm and elbow to extend my reach, but not break my wrist from the cocked position.

Overall, I found better footwork but still found the proper steps hard to remember.  It's harder still to turn 180 degrees from facing one side wall to the other side wall when I switch between backhand and forehand.

Lastly, I played a thoughtful game with Niki and won!
