Match Strategy

My match strategy is simple -  deceive and attack!

Here are some deception tactics. Change up straight drives with cross courts.  Change up drives with drops.  Change up drop with drives.  Change up drives or drops with trickle boasts.

Attack all balls in front of the service line.  High and low volleys.  High drop volleys and high deep volleys.  Low volley lobs or drops.

Up until now, I haven't been practicing these two points.  I do it when I play Richard, but when I practice, I'm too hesitant.  Against the weak players, I'm too lazy.  Against players of my level, I'm too conservative.  Only against higher players I attack.  Recently I've added some deception into the lesson with Niki and on court with Richard.  Consolidating a 4.0 game and surpassing 4.5 will mean attacking more and using deception consistently.

Here's my new plan. During the next few practices, I will play at least half of the games with the deceive and attack strategy.
