Athletics

Playing squash demands a great deal of athletics that I did not appreciate.  The first time I played baseball, the PE teacher said to keep my eyes on the ball. He said, 'if you can see the ball, then you can hit it.'  I've never forgotten that.  Seeing the ball is the big challenge in playing squash.  For a long time, I only thought about keeping track of the ball when it is hit hard and fast. Yesterday, I realized it was just as hard to watch the ball when it is hit soft and slow.
